Dr. Samadi has dedicated is work to help men complete recovery after prostate cancer and improving their quality of life after the treatment. He therefore recently developed the Samadi Advanced Robotic Technique (SMART) which is a new and innovative way of surgically removing the cancerous prostate. This technique reduces surgical time to two hours and recovery hospital time to less than 24 hours. His new technique employs the use of advanced computer technology and robotics in the removal of the prostate. He has already performed over 7,000 successful surgeries using this technique. This technique reduces the risk of damaging tissues and nerves during surgery. This is because Dr. Samadi does not suture the dorsal vein complex or open the side of the prostate. The procedure is simple and is carried out through very small microscopic precisions therefore greatly reducing pain and bleeding.

After surgery, his patients have reported 85 percent sexual functions shortly after the surgery and 97 percent continence rate.Dr. David Samadi has taken an initiative to help men who suffer from prostate cancer avoid the negative effects of prostate surgery. He has taken an initiative to educate the general public about medical related issues such as research which features latest innovations in medical technologies, men-related health issues and alternative medication and treatment for prostate cancer through holding TV and radio talk shows. From 2011 to 2016, he was a host of the Sunday Housecall on Fox News Channel. On March 2015, he started a radio program and a blog website about health news.
